Well, as I looked back at my postings, I noticed that in pretty much every one I am trying to tempt you all to come visit us in Seattle. This posting is no different.
Last weekend we had a family reunion with Andrew's family at this new resort town on the Washington coast. The resort is called Seabrook, and the design is largely based on the Florida beach town Seaside (the setting of "The Truman Show"). It is still just in the beginning phases, so there aren't a lot of distractions (stores, entertainment, etc.), just the beach and the forest. It was a perfect place to get away from our busy lives.
Clancy loved the beach, of course, and as always his favorite thing was grabbing a handful of sand and throwing it as far as he could. Maybe that's because I hardly ever let him get really dirty and muddy. It was great fun!
